The Emergency

Emergency Roof Tarping
Because the damaged roof could not be permanently repaired immediately, our first priority was to prevent additional water from entering the home.
The affected area was professionally tarped to provide temporary protection until the damaged roofing could be removed and the permanent roof repair could be completed.
Coordinating the Roof Repair
North Idaho Flood & Fire helped coordinate the next steps with the homeowners and their insurance adjuster.
Cliff Jensen worked with the insurance adjuster and helped coordinate the arrangements for the home's new roof.
Once the necessary work was scheduled, the damaged roofing materials were removed and the permanent roofing repairs were completed by the roofing contractor, North West Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing.
Interior Water Damage
The force of the tree impact caused damage inside the home as well.
The drywall had cracked and shifted from the impact of the tree. The affected drywall was removed from the ceiling so the damaged area could be properly repaired.
New drywall was installed, finished, and painted, restoring the interior of the affected area.

The priority was to protect the home immediately, address the resulting interior damage, and coordinate the repairs necessary to fully restore the affected areas.
